Your Role
As a Student Assistant in our Global Development Support team, you will contribute to financial analysis and project development work across Eurowind's international portfolio. Working closely with experienced colleagues in a dynamic environment, you'll gain direct exposure to investment decisions, M&A processes, and financial modelling of renewable energy projects. You'll report directly to Laust Rønnow Merrild, Manager of Global Development Support.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Supporting financial modelling: data gathering and populating project models
- Preparing material for recurring internal meetings and investment decision processes
- Supporting due diligence process
- Contributing to pipeline tracking across markets
- Calendar and stakeholder coordination
- If skill and time allow: contributing to BI and AI tool development
Your Profile
We are looking for 2nd and 3rd year BSc students and 1st year MSc students in programs equivalent to cand.merc FIR who enjoys working analytically and is comfortable working in English.
Beyond that, we value:
- Understanding of DCF (Discounted Cash Flow)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Solid analytical skills and a structured approach to your work
- Comfortable both taking ownership of your own tasks and collaborating closely with the team
- Interest in renewable energy and/or AI tools is a plus
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
What We Offer
We offer a flexible, student-friendly arrangement of around 15 hours a week — with room to adjust around exams and semester breaks. You will be based at our headquarters in Hobro, which is easily accessible by public transport. While on-site presence is our starting point, there is also the option to work remotely from home.
From day one you will work alongside experienced colleagues in investment and project development, gaining direct mentorship and hands-on exposure to real M&A processes and major investment decisions. You will sharpen your financial modelling skills on live renewable energy projects building practical expertise that goes well beyond the classroom.
