Welcome to the Visma Management Trainee program!
We're opening up a limited number of Management Trainee positions starting autumn 2027. This one-year program is designed to help you grow, explore your strengths, and find your place in an international, thriving company.

Visma is a collective of 150+ business software companies operating across 28 markets. With 2.5 million customers and counting, we're on a mission to make business administration effortlessly simple for small businesses, large enterprises, and local governments alike.

The Management Trainee experience
As a Management Trainee, you'll work on five strategic projects across Visma's companies over one year. You'll have the chance to really contribute to Visma’s deliveries and work in various European locations, like Copenhagen or Amsterdam.

This international program connects you with fellow trainees from Denmark, Sweden, and the Netherlands. It all kicks off with an introduction week at our HQ in Oslo, followed by joint gatherings across Europe throughout the year. This gives you plenty of time to build connections that last well beyond the program.

Once you complete the year, you're guaranteed a permanent role within Visma. Together we'll help you land in the right place, and the five projects you lead are the perfect way to figure out where that is. Three former trainees are currently in top management, and previous trainees hold roles like Finance Director, AI Director, M&A Manager, Product Owner or Business Developer, to name just a few.

Who we’re looking for
Our Management Trainees come from diverse backgrounds, each bringing unique skills and personalities. What they all have in common is their curious mindset, proactive approach to innovation, and strong collaboration skills. They are critical thinkers, love to ask questions, thrive on responsibility and tend to have leadership ambitions. Proficiency in both Norwegian and English communication is crucial.

Application process
Applying is really easy!

Instead of a traditional cover letter, we want you to share your motivation for becoming a Management Trainee at Visma, and an example of how you utilise AI. Share your thoughts in a paragraph or two, approximately 100-150 words. Don't forget to upload your CV and higher education grade reports; screenshots of grades are okay if official reports aren't available.

We'll review applications right after the deadline and make sure to give feedback to everyone. Keep an eye on your spam folder, just in case!

Once you apply, you'll be invited to complete an online ability test and a personality assessment. If we think we are a great match, we'll invite you to a digital interview. For the final interview, we will invite you to visit our HQ in Oslo, which will include a case study.
