Student Assistant - AI Prototyping & Product Innovation
About the role
We're looking for a curious and hands-on Student Applied AI Engineer to help us explore how AI can improve our products and internal workflows. You'll work closely with our product, design, and engineering teams to prototype AI-powered solutions, experiment with modern AI assistants and agents, and rapidly turn ideas into working prototypes.

This role is ideal for a student who enjoys learning by building, is excited by the latest AI technologies, and wants real-world experience developing practical AI applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Building and experimenting with AI-powered features, agents, skills, and tooling built around AI assistants
• Prompt engineering and fast, going from idea to working prototype using AI tools
• UI/UX design and prototyping in Figma, turning ideas into flows, wireframes, and clickable prototypes
• Understanding our product and design system, and helping keep it coherent as new features get added

Required Skills & Experience

• A student (CS, software engineering, digital design, or related field) with genuine interest in AI engineering
• Real curiosity or hands-on experience with AI tooling and agents: Claude Code, Codex, Pi and similar
• Comfortable with prompt engineering and building things quickly for prototyping
• A solid grasp of product thinking and design systems

Nice to Have

• Understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, or MCP
• Working knowledge of JavaScript/Python and git

What This Role Is Not

• Not traditional machine learning research or model training
• No expectation to build production-ready systems
