About the Internship
As a Hardware Design Engineer Intern, you will work with hardware design in the development and design of electrical engineering solutions for robotic systems and special-purpose machinery. You will become part of ongoing projects, contributing to design, documentation, and component selection in close collaboration with experienced colleagues.

As an intern at TECHNICON, you will gain unique insight into how electrical design plays a central role in complete machine solutions. You will work on real projects where you can apply the theory from your studies in practice and experience how specifications, standards, and cross-functional collaboration come together in real-world projects.

You will primarily work on a project alongside the hardware team under the guidance of a project manager who sets the framework for the work. You will have the opportunity to shape your tasks, whether your interests lie in electrical schematics, component selection, or documentation.

You will never be left on your own, and it is important to us that you feel comfortable asking questions along the way.

What will you be working on?
You will be introduced to and work with:

• Preparing electrical schematics and technical documentation
• Hardware design of electrical solutions for automation systems
• Component selection and sizing
• Working with tools such as PCSCHEMATIC, EPLAN, or similar software
• Understanding applicable standards and machine safety requirements
• Collaborating with mechanical and software teams on projects
