Would you like to share your experience of student life, help potential students with their choice of education and be part of starting a brand-new ambassador team in Vejle?

SDU Vejle is a new international campus, and we are now looking for several student ambassadors from Software Engineering and Interactive Technology Engineering.
As a student ambassador, you will become part of a new team that will help give potential students an authentic insight into the programs and life as a student at SDU Vejle.

An important part of our recruitment efforts is that potential students meet current students. As an ambassador, you will therefore be the one who can share your experience of what it is like to be a student at SDU.

Tasks a student ambassador
As an ambassador you will be part of a team of students who represent the engineering programs at events and in 1-1 meetings with potential students. Some of the tasks include:

• Student for a day, where you will show potential students around campus and bring them along to classes
• Open Day, where you will inform potential students about your program and answer questions (each year in February)
• Study internship (Studiepraktik) where you help showcase your program and everyday student life over two days (each year in week 43)
• Presentations on campus, at local high schools or online, where you will present your program, your experience and life as a student.

In the future, you will also have the opportunity to help develop and facilitate workshops for high school students and participate in educational fairs abroad.

We expect that you are

• Happy with your choice of education and enjoy sharing your experience with others
• Outgoing, engaged and enjoys meeting different people
• A good communicator both verbally and in writing.
• Able to work independently as well as in a group
• Flexible, responsible and able to keep agreements and meet deadlines.
• Able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
• Have a driver’s license (not required but an advantage)

You must be enrolled as a student at Software Engineering or Interactive Technology Engineering at SDU Vejle to be considered for the position.

You will formally be employed for an average of 1 hour per week. The number of hours per week is not fixed but depends on the specific activities. The position is paid by the hour.

The position is for one year but can be prolonged by mutual consent.
