We are currently looking for a talented and detail-oriented student assistant for our People Program Office in Group HR to join our team in Gentofte, Copenhagen. This is a great opportunity for a young scholar looking to pursue a career in change and communications. You will be exposed to a wide variety of organisational development and transformation topics, gain insight of business strategy execution from a multi-skilled teams and organizational leaders as well as gain experience in a dynamic and challenging environment.

The challenge

To support this vision the Scandinavian Tobacco Group HR is transforming the way the way we are working, looking into more digitalized and standardized solutions benefitting our global organization and the individual user. As a Student Assistant, you will support HR and the People Program Office with implementing the internal communication strategy and activities. Communication is key to establishing a change ready organization amongst our 11.000 employees.

Your responsibilities
Creating internal communications materials to support internal STG needs in collaboration with relevant STG colleagues including newsletters, SharePoint updates, power point presentations, emails, videos, etc. Your role will be supporting internal communication for STG.

  • Developing and publishing content for our Sharepoint site (news articles, videos, posters etc)
  • Assisting with internal communication related activities within the organization and ensure effective delivery to key stakeholders
  • Gathering, assessing, analysing (comprising) and creating meaningful reports and presentations that ultimately gets presented to senior stakeholders within the organization
  • Supporting People Program Managers in the execution of project activities
  • Contribute to the monitoring and evaluation of the roll out of the communications plan
  • Guiding project managers to self-service tools available on internal and change management and updating the portal when needed
  • Keeping track of, booking and planning meetings and webinars to drive the People Program Office agenda
  • Adhoc HR tasks when time allows for this

What we are looking for

  • You are currently in the last year of your bachelor’s degree, or in the first year of your master’s in a related subject to the role
  • You possess excellent skills within Microsoft office, particularly building presentations in PowerPoint
  • You are detail-oriented and have high business acumen to know when perfection is needed
  • You are a good storyteller and can build a narrative in a story or presentation suitable to the audience
  • You are structured and able to prioritize and deliver on a wide range of deliverables simultaneously
  • You are flexible and recognize that small tasks done well also create big value

We expect you to work between 15-20 hours/week, but we are of course flexible around exams. You should be fluent in English, both written and spoken.
