Bachelor or Master project, Technology department at Arla Innovation Center

Do you want to go deeper into the world of technology development and have an interest in dairy processing? Then this is the perfect opportunity for you. The technology department at Arla Foods Innovation Center is looking for a dedicated and passionate person who will work with the process designers exploring our key technologies in their Bachelor or Master thesis.

About the project
We would like to continuously develop our knowledge and competences within different technologies to be ready for the future. In this role as a Bachelor or Master thesis student you can look forward to working with technology and science specialists across Innovation.

In this specific project we are looking for a student who has passion for process, especially thermodynamics since the intended project is within the area of “moving calories in the right way” in indirect heating systems.

Your responsibilities will be:

• Conduct a thorough literature review on the influence and importance of different kinds of heat load on different products.
• Utilize knowledge from already planned trials.
• Plan and execute trials.
• Analyze results, prepare a report (thesis).
• Build a heat load calculation tool
• Present data/results to project group and broader stakeholders.

Who are you?
In the position the ability to think out of the box, be, curious, have an open mindset and willingness to challenge is key. Your ability to solve challenges, work in very structured way is essential. You can easily navigate in a professional environment, collaborate across different functional areas and are driven by creating results.

Additionally you:

• Are currently pursuing a preferably Master or Bachelor degree in Food Science, Dairy Science, Dairy Engineering, Biochemical, chemical engineering or similar relevant education.
• You are about to start your Bacehelor or Master Thesis and can start after august 2024
• Are experienced in Microsoft office tools
• English written and spoken skills.
