Software Engineer (Student Assistant)

As our new Software Engineer Student Assistant, you will collaborate with a product team of highly skilled and dedicated engineers to deliver solutions and services to our enterprise customers. Alongside the engineering team, you will assist in building, running, and deploying our services, including web applications, APIs, and backend systems.

You will be responsible for complex tasks, which you will solve together with the team by breaking them down and proactively addressing issues that will arise as part of this. We encourage you to suggest solutions and future improvements to both our codebase and the product you support.

In this role, you will

• Assist in designing and planning architecture to build stable and scalable software.

• Collaborate with the team to identify feasible, high-impact solutions that meet team objectives.

• Contribute to developing application code for our platform and products.

• Work with team members to ensure continued stability and performance.

• Participate in developing creative and innovative engineering processes and practices.

• Assist in exploring and evaluating new technologies and solutions to enhance our capabilities.

• Help document processes and practices established by the team.

• Assist in the maintenance of our products.

Our ideal candidate is

• Currently enrolled in a relevant Master’s program or the final year of a Bachelor’s degree. Experience working as a Software Engineer is a plus.
• Can work approximately 20 hours per week with flexibility during exam periods.
• Ability to learn quickly and face new challenges with curiosity.
• Creative problem-solving skills.
• Experience with JavaScript, CSS, REST APIs, JSON and SQL, Node.js, RxJs, and Angular is considered a plus.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
• Familiarity with the full stack of technologies used in a web application.
• Experience with Docker, GitLab, and AWS services.
