Student assistant to Finance at Nordic Sugar

The finance department of Nordic Sugar is responsible for finance related to the operating entities in both Denmark (Nordic Sugar A/S) and Sweden (Nordic Sugar AB). Nordic Sugar A/S has its administrative office in Copenhagen and sugar factories in Nykøbing and Nakskov while Nordic Sugar AB has its administrative office in Arlöv and factories in Örtofta and Arlöv.

The position is based out of our office in Copenhagen (Ørestad) and requires that you live and study in Denmark. We are looking for a student who can preferably work 10-15 hours a week. We understand the importance of the balance between job and your studies.

Work tasks:
Not all days will be the same and as you gain a broader knowledge of the matters, your tasks will expand. Your tasks will among others include:
• Participation in month-end and year-end reporting
• Monitoring of SG&A costs to ensure consistency with budget and forecast
• Participation in budget and forecast reporting
• Maintenance of Excel sheets
• Quality check of postings and follow-up on discrepancies in order to fine-tune our processes.
• Undertake ad-hoc administrative tasks and projects as required

Qualifications:
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within the fields of Finance or Accounting
• A strong understanding of Finance and its impact on decision-making
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, flexible, and international environment.
• Good experience and knowledge within IT including MS Office especially Excel.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA and SAP BW is advantage, but not mandatory.
