Internship in Sourcing

Are you interested in the field of sourcing and want to enhance your strategic and operational skills? Here is what your role entails
As an Intern in the Sourcing team, you will work with many different operational and sourcing tasks. During the internship, it will be your primary responsibility to carry out analyses and follow-up tasks in various projects.

More specifically you will be:

• Preparing analyses for spend category segmentation and cost-down evaluations
• Assisting our Strategic Sourcing Managers in various sourcing processes, including participation in RFI, RFQ, supplier selection and negotiation
• Implementing minor product changes with suppliers
• Driving your own sourcing projects, as well as controlling and updating master data

Meet your future team
As our intern, you will be part of the Strategic Sourcing team, consisting of 20 experienced and committed colleagues who are jointly responsible for negotiating, sourcing, and carrying out various projects. The department works cross organizational and is providing space for challenges, input, and a daily life where every day is different. The close contact with your colleagues within the team will also give you opportunity for professional coaching and personal development.

Did you know? Our previous interns have had a significant impact on our sourcing. They established key supplier categorization and segmentation, central for data analysis and prioritization. They have also led numerous sourcing projects.

We are seeking a motivated student who can contribute to the business development of Kamstrup with great commitment and an eagerness to put your theoretical knowledge into play.

In order to succeed we imagine that you:

• Are studying in Business Administration, Operations & Supply Chain Management, Value Chain Management or similar
• Are persistent and proactive meaning that you see challenges as opportunities and strive to find solutions
• Are good at communicating and analytically strong which means you can clearly convey ideas and insights while contributing with data to make informed decisions.
• Take responsibility and work independently and structured with your tasks, but also appreciate close cooperation with your team

As we are an international organisation it is important that you are fluent in English and Danish.
