Your challenges

At our Østbirk location, you'll join our department D&O Flat Roof and Commercial, focusing on optimizing and improving our flat roof windows, continuous roof light and glazing systems. This role offers you a unique opportunity to actively contribute to various projects, all while gaining hands-on experience in product development and sustainability.

As an intern, you’ll work closely with experienced professionals, handling tasks both individually and in a collaborative team setting.

Your primary tasks will include:

• Assisting in the development of sustainable product and design solutions for flat roof windows.

• Collaborating with the team to analyze and optimize existing products, focusing on sustainability and cost-efficiency.

• Conducting simulations and tests to evaluate product and component performance.

• Supporting troubleshooting and problem-solving efforts within the team.

• Performing root cause analyses and testing to ensure optimal product quality.

• Contributing to project and portfolio management activities.

The internship will last 6 months, with the possibility of extension by agreement. You can expect to work full-time with some flexibility around remote work, depending on the nature of your tasks.

Your qualifications

You're enthusiastic about product development and committed to contributing to sustainable innovations. You are curious, proactive, and enjoy working as part of a team while also thriving in independent tasks. Your meticulous nature and adeptness at resolving issues will propel you forward in this position.

Additionally, we imagine that you:

• Are currently pursuing a degree in a technical or mercantile field (e.g., engineering, industrial design, Economics, etc.).

• Have high analytical and communication skills.

• Capable of self-directed work while also contributing productively to group projects.

• Are excited about sustainability and innovative design solutions.
