Job Description
Do you have a passion for simulation and mathematical modeling? Are you interested in applying mathematical models to real-world systems and components?

Begin your journey in the industrial, energy, and engineering sector with Danfoss Climate Solutions by joining the Commercial Compressor, Electronics and Controls department as a student worker.

The position is located in Nordborg, Denmark and offers a unique opportunity for professional growth in a supportive and innovative team setting.

Job Responsibilities
As a student worker with us, your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Developing mathematical models of physical components and systems, such as electric motors.
  • Creating models for thermodynamic components and systems using tools like Dymola.
  • Modeling and simulating electrical systems.
  • Building and simulating models in the Matlab/Simulink environment.

Background & Skills
For this position, you are currently enrolled at the end of your Bachelor’s or beginning if your Master’s preferably in engineering within control systems, computer science, software engineering, data science etc. In addition, you have/can:

  • Experience with MatLab/Simulink.
  • Experience with mathematical modelling.
  • A data-focused approach to solving problems
  • Handle both verbal and written communication in English.

On a personal level, you are open-minded and have a communicative approach, enabling you to engage effectively with diverse perspectives and ideas. Along with your strong teamworking skills, you can collaborate smoothly with colleagues to achieve mutual goals. At the same time, you are highly independent and self-motivated, able to take initiative and manage tasks autonomously while contributing to the success of the team. An analytical, structured, and proactive approach, coupled with a passion for learning and tackling new challenges, is also essential in this role.
