Internship within International Youth Activism

We are looking for passionate and driven interns eager to work with youth activism for social and climate justice in the spring semester 2025. The Global Platforms are a global network of youth-led spaces for activism, supporting young people, organisations, and movements to fight for social justice and build collective power by creating spaces for participatory and action-oriented learning and innovation, networking, organising, and creative activism. ActionAid Denmark currently support Global Platforms in more than 30 countries across Europe, Africa, Latin America, Middle East, and Asia.

The role is based in ActionAid Denmark's Global Platforms Secretariat in Copenhagen. You will be part of an international and diverse team with colleagues based across three continents.

As an intern in the team you will be responsible for:

• Supporting the team’s projects and partnerships across the globe.
• Participating in facilitation and planning of events and activities.
• Supporting fundraising efforts.
• Monitoring the overall situation and change of context in countries of operation.

The job requires that you:

• Can communicate fluently in written and spoken English.
• Are structured and have good administration and planning skills.
• Are motivated to work with youth-led activism as part of a global team.

It is an advantage if you:

• Have experience with facilitation of trainings and workshops.
• Have volunteering/NGO experience.
• Have experience with organising and activism.
• Can speak other languages - especially Ukrainian, Russian, French, Spanish, Armenian, Romanian, Georgian, Danish, Arab or any of the other main languages spoken in Global Platforms countries.
