Open Entrepreneurship Lab is looking for a Student Assistant.

Can you support many exciting innovation and entrepreneurship activities for RUC students? Do you thrive in an everyday life with coordination, planning and holding events? Then you might be our new student assistant.

RUC Open Entrepreneurship Lab (OE-LAB) is part of the External Cooperation Team in the Rector's Secretariat. OE-Lab primary mission is to support RUC strategy by:

  • Supporting the students who want to bring their project results and solutions into play.
  • Encouraging and supporting entrepreneurship and open innovation among the students.
  • Supporting the students as strong agents of change and competent project managers, who are skilled at translating knowledge into the established labor market, and as independent entrepreneurs and opinion makers.

About the job:

OE-Lab develops activities in collaboration with lecturers and external companies and organizations. OE-Lab facilitates the organization of Pitch events, Innovation Match Making Events, Workshops, Innovation Cafes, network activities, etc. Some of these events have more than 100 participants and it requires planning, coordination, execution, and recapping. Not only the number of participants has increased but also the number of activities, therefore…

We are looking for a student assistant who:

  • Has dep interest in entrepreneurship (either has knowledge background or experience as entrepreneur)
  • Is sharp at planning, organizing activities from a-z.
  • Has strong communication skills both in Danish and English.
  • Can support the activities with practical issues (logistical and practical tasks).
  • Has proven experience with design, coordination and development of meetings and networking activities.
  • Can work up to 15 hours per week- work hours after common agreement.
  • Has social Media Management experience.
  • Is open to learn and use digital tools, e.g.: SoMe, Conference Manager, etc.
  • Is analytical and systematic when solving the tasks.

We will appreciate an assistant who:

  • is formal, constant, and structured.
  • Is expert in planning the personal, study and the working time (specially at the beginning and end of the semester)
  • Is reliable, arrives on time and at the agreed times.
  • Is outgoing and proactive.
  • Is service minded and follows the task to the letter.
  • Solves tasks with enthusiasm.
  • Can start as soon as possible.

About us

We are a team of seven colleges with a diverse and transdisciplinary background and we all work on different areas of innovation collaboration. Our entrepreneurship focus has two segments’ groups: researchers and students. You will be collaborating to support the student segment group under the guidance of an experienced college. The position offers good opportunities for sparring, but you must be able to work independently and be proactive. Our team has close cooperation with Roskilde University's central study administration, RUC’s four institutes, the study central office, the students and many external hubs and companies.

Terms of employment

This is an employment of 15 hours per week with reference to team leader Allan Grønbæk. Remuneration takes place in accordance with the Joint Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Public Employees' Organizations - The State Area and the organizational agreement for Office Clerks, Laboratory Technicians and IT Employees HK. You will be placed as a student HK.
