About Us
At Civil Connections, we pride ourselves on creating a warm and welcoming environment where we continuously try to make everyone feel valued and supported. Our close-knit team works collaboratively and believe that a safe work culture is essential for fostering creativity and innovation.
We have a broad portfolio, with projects in Denmark, Europe, & Africa. Our main focus across all projects is youth empowerment towards democratic participation, inclusion, and active citizenship. We take pride in being a diverse organization that brings a decolonial take to the social sector, putting local communities in the driving seat and supporting youth to make their voice count in their local communities.
About the position
Your field of study is not paramount, but it could be within communication, social sciences and/or international affairs. Fields of pedagogue, social worker, or teacher is also encouraged.
We offer flexibility in your work, so you also have the possibility to influence your tasks, subject to what is relevant for your study programme and in your personal interests.
Task & responsibilities
- Project development, research and writing: composing texts for grant applications
- Project implementation, including monitoring, documentation, evaluation, and reporting
- Communication tasks: SoMe, blogpost, webpage development
- Supporting events and activities in Denmark
- Administrative ad hoc tasks related to our daily operations
- Possible travels on project activities in Europe & Africa
We expect you to start in February and stay with us until June/July, subject to your study requirements and further dialogue.
We offer you flexible hours and conditions, but expect you to take part in all relevant team meetings at our cozy office in the heart of Nørrebro.
