We are looking for an intern focusing on mechanical engineering to drive the technical part of our customer projects. We supply equipment and systems to various industries mainly food and wastewater. Our projects evolve around the decanter product line and the scope complexity varies from being simply decanters with automation systems to sophisticated process systems. You will work with system design and will be involved in different project phases. Examples of tasks that an intern supports with:
- Develop drawings and designs using Inventor and AutoCAD.
- Develop/maintain Excel-sheets containing VBA-code.
- SharePoint-list customization with Power Apps and MS Automat
- Develop project specific drawings including P&ID’s, process flow diagrams, arrangement drawings, detailed drawings, 3D drawings and fabrication drawings.
- Specify and select components to be used in the projects.
- Assist the procurement department with sourcing correct components.
- Develop project documentation including procedures, datasheets test records etc.
- Maintain records of submitted documentation, ensuring the customer transmittal procedure is respected
- Review technical specifications from customers and develop technical deviation lists.
- Ensure the document control system is maintained, and workflow followed.
- Ensure that the quality system is followed.
Competencies, experience, and attitudes to do the job:
Technical aptitude and willingness to learn. - Good skills to work with IT tools
Good team player - Strong communication & networking skills. Fluent in speaking English.
