We are searching for creative and passionate hospitality souls that want to be a part of our team at Next House Copenhagen. It is the perfect student position or for those who want an awesome extra job on the side. We are looking for on-callers, primarily working evening and nights, who can be the face of Next House and make sure everyone feels welcomed while hosting events that bring guests together from our hostel hour to our quiz nights

Next House is a New-Yorker style luxury hostel with a central location close to the buzzing life of Copenhagen. Being a luxury hostel means that we are more than just beds. We create experiences and make people feel included and at home and our amenities are top-notch.

Not a job for the passive ones...
Working for Next House Copenhagen you need to be comfortable with changing tasks and taking charge. We need people that want to be a part of creating a culture and becoming a part of a community - it's not just a job. We need people who enjoy human interaction and who do not mind varying working hours as this is a part of our industry.

Depending on the day, the tasks will include but not be limited to:

• Help host different activities for our guests – don’t be shy
• Work behind the bar to sell & serve coffee, beer, wine, drinks, food and snacks – and plenty of it
• Work closely with colleagues to maintain a vibrant and smooth-running atmosphere, jumping in wherever you are needed to keep the energy up
• Resolve customer issues in a quick, efficient manner to maintain a high level of service. Help guests feel at ease and ready to have a good time
• Assist the front desk team with various administrative tasks when needed

All in all a physical job, which requires a lot of lifting, moving around and being out on the floor. We guarantee an active and exciting work day.

Structured people-person with love for hospitality
First of all we expect you to be good with people. You need to understand each guest and make them feel comfortable despite the 110 other things you need to do. You are going to be the person that makes them want to come back and a part of their experience of our hostel. Secondly, you need to have a passion for our industry. We are not just here to make a transfer - money for a bed - we are here to create experiences and to be that place where people hang out and remember years later.

We therefore expect you to:

• Be positive, outgoing and above all service minded
• Interact with guests, be a natural connector, creating a lively and friendly vibe throughout the house

• Be a dynamic and honest team player
• Keep cool when the pressure hits and enjoy the fast pace
• Be flexible and willing to work evenings, nights and weekends
• Be fluent in both written and spoken English

Experience within the hospitality/service industry will not hurt your chances; however, it is not a requirement.
Danish is not a must, but a plus as well as any knowledge to other languages

You will also become a part of Arp-Hansen Hotel Group, where you have colleagues from 12 other hotels and 1 other hostel.
