Global Marketing Internship at Configit A/S

Configit helps large manufacturing companies to simplify how they design, build, sell and manage their products. We do this with advanced software that makes it easier to configure products—like cars, elevators, or industrial machines—by organizing and managing all product data in one system. This is called Configuration Lifecycle Management (CLM), a market that was created by Configit.

Our customers are global leaders in industries like manufacturing, automotive, and high-tech. These are often Fortune 500 companies that build complex products with many variations. Examples include car manufacturers, elevator companies, and industrial equipment makers. We typically work with teams in engineering, product management, IT, digital transformation and sales/service.

Who you’ll be working with
You’ll be working closely with the Global Marketing Team, which includes 7 people in Copenhagen, and a handful spread across the globe.

At Configit, marketing is all about managing long and complex customer journeys. Since our solutions are high-value and tailored to large manufacturers of configurable products, the sales process can take a couple of years.

We focus on building strong brand awareness while using a mix of traditional and modern marketing tactics. This includes everything from Account-Based Marketing (ABM) to thought leadership content, events, social media and 1:1 marketing.

At our core, we’re extremely data-driven—using analytics to guide decisions—but we also value the power of creativity and human touch to connect with our audience on a deeper level.

Potential Global Marketing Intern Activities
Important: We are a structured, but agile department. The ideal candidate is ready to take on ad hoc projects across marketing, showcasing agility and a willingness to learn.
There will be tasks ready for you to always take on, but new projects and tasks may take priority.

These are some examples depending on the candidate’s interest:

Marketing:

• Support the design and creation of brand assets for content, campaigns, and paid media.

• Assist in planning and executing webinars and physical events, including pre-event promotion and post-event follow-up.

• Help support the sales and marketing team in content distribution through organic channels using tools like Oktopost.

Digital Marketing & Analytics:

• Gain exposure on how you can optimize paid media campaigns with data-driven insights.

• Monitor marketing performance in tools like Dreamdata.

Marketing Operations:

• Build and clean account-based targeting lists for sales and marketing campaigns.

• Maintain and improve the accuracy of Salesforce CRM data to support effective campaigns.

• Assist in documenting and improving marketing processes to ensure efficiency.

Product Marketing:

• Develop an understanding of Configit’s product suite and its positioning in the Configuration Lifecycle Management (CLM) market.

• Support product launches by creating supporting materials such as one-pagers or feature highlights.

• Help research customer pain points and align them with product value propositions.

Creative & Ad Hoc Projects:

• Brainstorm creative concepts for campaigns, including videos or visuals for paid ads.

• Assist in creating presentations for internal or external stakeholders.
