Danfoss Climate Solutions holds leading positions within sustainable and energy efficient solutions for industry, the built environment, and the entire food chain, and will leverage the climate agenda and the targets in the “Paris Agreement” and in the EU Green Deal as strong driving forces in accelerating efforts. Quality data on product compliance is one of the essential pillars for such leading positions and strong ESG ambitions. This includes, e.g., data on chemical substances regulated under REACH, California Prop. 65, TSCA and other product-related chemical regulation, documentation for RoHS, etc.
To support Danfoss Climate Solutions in ensuring product data as a basis for reaching even higher aspirations, we are looking for a student worker to join our Product Compliance team. You will be involved in project-related tasks with a special focus on data collection, management, and maintenance as well as handling of customer requests, which is all part of the digital transformation.
Job Responsibilities
You will get the opportunity to take part in a variety of tasks, and your main responsibilities will include:
- Develop and maintain data and data structures for product compliance, e.g., chemical compliance.
- Verify and implement data in our IT systems.
- Support and maintain external reporting of product data.
- Handle customer requests on product compliance and ESG.
- Create overviews to monitor progress and productivity.
Background & Skills
Preferably you are in the process of completing a bachelor or have just embarked your master’s degree within chemical engineering, sustainability, or related studies, and we value that you:
- Have solid analytical skills, with a structured approach to problem solving.
- Enjoy working with data and data quality.
- Have basic general IT skills and advanced excel skills.
- Are thorough in your way of work, proactive and result driven.
- Have an ability to ensure high-quality deliverables on time.
To succeed in this role, you must be a quick learner and have good English communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
You can work independently on the tasks given to you and are willing to take on various kinds of challenges – strategic, operational as well as practical tasks. Workload of average 10-15 hours a week is expected, with flexibility in exam periods.
