We are seeking an ambitious Finance Student Worker to join our expanding Copenhagen team. You’ll work closely with our Head of Finance in working with Kanpla’s financials as we transform the contract catering industry across Europe and beyond.

With growth exceeding 100% year-over-year, Kanpla now operates in 10 countries following our 2024 expansion. Our team size doubled last year, with plans to continue this growth trajectory into 2025.

In this role, you’ll do more than just crunch numbers; you’ll take ownership of critical financial operations, ensure compliance, and directly contribute to scaling our business sustainably.

What You'll Do

• Manage key aspects of Kanpla’s financial operations—think invoicing, payments, and budget oversight.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and forecasts to guide key business decisions.
• Keep accurate financial records following legal standards.
• Support the Head of Finance in cash flow management and planning for business growth.
• Collaborate with external partners on audits, taxes, and compliance requirements.
• Help review contracts and agreements, ensuring legal accuracy and assisting in client and partner negotiations.
• Contribute to improving financial processes and systems for greater efficiency.

What We're Looking For

• Currently pursuing a degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with an eagle eye for detail.
• A proactive, self-starter attitude—you love taking ownership and getting things done.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage with internal teams and external partners.
• Assist with the legal aspects of contracts, agreements, and negotiations with clients and partners.
• Experience with (accounting) software (e.g., E-conomic, Fenerum, HubSpot) or other financial systems is a plus.
