What is special about being part of our team?
The Research Unit is a young, international team working on research topics in macroeconomics, finance, household finance and labour economics. It is well connected with academic institutions in Copenhagen – and research projects would very likely be in collaboration with the University of Copenhagen, Copenhagen Business School or some other national or international university. As it is a part of the Monetary Policy Department, the Research Unit is closely involved in the economic policy debate inside the Danish Central bank.
How do we support your development?
The Research group work across the bank – with many different stakeholders – and you will learn to navigate a larger organisation to move forward projects. Joining our team will give both a practical and theoretical push forward – on how ideas shapes into concrete projects and knowledge generation.
What is good leadership according to the line manager?
Good management is about setting both ambitious research goals as well as providing the guidance and support to reach those goals. We have a trusting and open dialogue, and you get a great deal of responsibility and scope for your personal and professional development, supported by both your central bank researcher and your academic advisor.
Where will I work?
The Danmarks Nationalbank building at Havnegade in Copenhagen is undergoing major and necessary renovation work that will take several years to complete. While the renovation work is ongoing, Danmarks Nationalbank has relocated to Langelinie Allé 47 in Copenhagen.
