About us
We, the Managing Assortment Complexity (MAC) team operate under the Europe Zone Finance department, headquartered in Viby, Aarhus. We specialize in product and product portfolio optimisation, driving efficiency across markets and product categories. As an internal consultancy/task force, we facilitate diverse projects involving cross-functional teams and a high-level Steering Committee. Beyond projects, we have a quest to “democratize” project and assortment initiative development and implementation. This, through a focus on spreading an "optimisation mentality" in the organization, as well as a focus on supporting skill development and analytical tools.
How you will make an impact
As an intern in the team, you will engage in both strategic and operational facets of our agenda:
• In category reviews, extracting and transforming data into analyses and further into actionable business cases
• Participate in workshops and preparation of these
• Prepare materials and targets for Steering Committee meetings, reporting team and other decision meetings
• Maintain and develop Power-BI reports for global product assortment transparency, lever-aging data from supply chain, commercial, and other sources.
• Influence process development and optimization. Both in the team and with stakeholders
What will make you successful
We are looking for a colleague with an open mind who thinks critically and combines multiple angles of a problem into a solution. You should be a master's student enrolled at a university in Denmark. Furthermore, personality traits that define you are:
- Strong analytical skills and a knack for working with numbers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with a willingness to enhance your PowerBI skills (you might already have some?). PowerBi/analytics will be an important task
- An outgoing personality and excellent comms skills (many and diverse stakeholders).
- Ability to multi-task - to juggle, plan and prioritise many simultaneous tasks.
Fluency in English is required.
