The Software Development track is designed to nurture your talents and provide you with a deep understanding of embedded systems and software development. Through two strategic rotations at our office in Lyngby, Denmark, you will gain firsthand experience in diverse business areas, giving you a holistic view of Bang & Olufsen’s operations. By the end of the program, you will be equipped with a well-rounded skill set and the knowledge to contribute to our continued growth.
What You Will Do
As a graduate in the Embedded Software Development track, you will experience two key rotations, each focusing on a different aspect of embedded software development. Here’s a glimpse of what your rotations might involve:
Rotation 1: Embedded Software Development for Linux-Based Systems
In this rotation, you will work with Linux-based embedded software development in C++ while gaining practical experience with technologies such as Yocto, Zephyr, or the Linux kernel. You will be responsible for developing and optimizing multithreaded and real-time programming solutions for Bang & Olufsen’s audio streaming platform. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including app and cloud infrastructure teams, to enhance software integration and performance across various products.
Rotation 2: Bluetooth Audio Software Development
During this rotation, you will gain experience in developing embedded software for Bluetooth audio products, focusing on Bluetooth audio chipsets from Qualcomm and Airoha. You will work on developing and testing platform features for Bang & Olufsen’s premium Bluetooth audio devices. Additionally, you will deepen your knowledge of Bluetooth, FreeRTOS, and real-time embedded systems while implementing product UI/UX features that interface with our app, ensuring a seamless user experience.

What We Are Looking For
We’re looking for candidates who:
- Have obtained a Master’s degree in in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar field in 2024, or will graduate in the summer of 2025.
- Have maximum 1 year of full-time work experience (besides internships, part-time roles, or project work).
- Are passionate about embedded software and eager to work with C/C++ for embedded systems.
- Have knowledge of real-time programming, multithreading, or Bluetooth.
- Are curious, eager to learn, and ready to take on new challenges in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Are fluent in English.
