STUDENT WORKER – DEVELOPING GRAM EQUIPMENT ACADEMY
Are you curious how your favorite ice cream is produced – and interested in developing training that can help others understand as well?

At Gram Equipment, we are looking for a student worker to our Gram Academy team, where we apply instructional design principles to develop high-quality online training on our ice cream processing equipment – for internal as well as external use.

You will have the opportunity to get in-depth knowledge about how the specific machine contributes to the production on ice cream, and turn it into training, that is understandable for machine operators from customer sites all around the world.

This will require that you focus on:

• Project management. You will get full responsibility for managing your own project according to the goals, we set together, and we will have short weekly follow us to coordinate your progress.

• Collaboration. You will have to coordinate and meet with colleagues from across the organization to gather knowledge and feedback that ensures that the training includes all important aspects and addresses the needs of both customers and your colleagues.

• Follow and bring new ideas to the existing process for developing training. The process stretches from gathering knowledge, through writing a script and finding visuals, to developing the training using text, pictures, videos and other interactive elements.

• Content creation. You will have to use creativity and writing skills to produce engaging and effective online training for our customers, using our authoring tool Genially. Templates and previous trainings are available for support and inspiration.

• Quality Assurance: Ensure that the training is correct, of high quality and that the user experience is consistent.

• Support the continuous progress of Gram Academy.

Though you will have to work independently, we consider it a team effort to be able to provide training, so support and sparring are always within arm’s length. In general, our team is characterized by an optimistic atmosphere and an informal, humoristic tone.

We do not have any specific requirements for your education. However, we are working with technically complex ice cream processing equipment, so it will be an advantage if you either have some technical understanding of machines and processes – or at least a strong curiosity and willingness to learn.

You must also have an interest in and capabilities for developing the learning material and ensuring its quality.

In addition, we do require the following:

• Personality: A self-driven team player with an optimistic and proactive work attitude and strong interpersonal communication skills – since you must be able to collaborate with colleagues from across the organization.

• Creative thinking: We appreciate input that drives change and that has the potential to improve our content, as well as the way we work.

• Language: Our company language is English. So, you must be able to communicate in English, both spoken and written, including the mediation of technical aspects.
  It will be a major plus, if you also possess Spanish or German skills, but this is not a requirement.

• Skills: Some technical understanding of equipment, graphic capabilities and a visual eye for the detail.

• Work approach: Self-driven, proactive, flexible, structured, and quality-focused.

We expect the average working hours to be 10 to 15 per week, with at least one day in the office for the purpose of collaboration, but also for the social aspect. The date of employment and your hour distribution will be adapted to your studies.

The position is located at our main office in Kolding, where you will find an informal atmosphere between good and dedicated colleagues.
