The role you'll play:
As a Legal Student Assistant, you will support our legal team by reviewing agreements, assisting with various legal matters, and contributing to the development of our governance and agreement templates. You will also ensure the completion of recurring legal tasks, such as revising legal documents and staying updated with the latest case law in commercial and IT-related matters.
Your primary tasks will include:
- Assisting our Legal Counsel with handling questions and cases from colleagues and customers within legal areas such as contract law, intellectual property law, and compliance-related matters including data protection law.
- Creating, maintaining, and validating the legal resources available to our organisation.
- Supporting our Legal Counsel with implementing initiatives with the aim of maturing and improving our legal practices.
- Various ad hoc legal tasks.
Your competences:
- Currently studying for a master’s degree in law (stud.cand.jur), or nearing the completion of your 6th semester of your bachelor’s degree (stud.bac.jur).
- Sufficient English skills to work effectively in an English-speaking environment.
- A strong interest in business law and the dynamic between commercial and legal matters.
- Knowledge of IT-contract law, data protection law, and the GDPR is a plus.
You will know you have succeeded if:
- You have effectively assisted in the review and management of legal agreements and documents.
- You have contributed to the development and refinement of our legal templates and governance processes.
- You have built strong relationships within the team and across the organisation, becoming a trusted resource for legal assistance.
Working hours and location:
You will be based at our office in Aarhus located at Østergade 46E, 8000 Aarhus C.
We will be expecting you to work 15-20 hours per week, but we offer flexible working hours to accommodate exam periods and lectures.
