A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Software Student Worker in Tools and Development department at Siemens Gamesa, you will play a key role in strengthening and streamlining our internal tools. Your day will involve improving existing code to make it more robust, maintainable, and user-friendly. You will help enhance our interface to the LCS Jira project template, ensuring smoother updates and better visibility of task dependencies. You will gain valuable hands-on experience with Python, Jira, and API integrations in a dynamic and innovative environment.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Enhance the interface to the existing Jira project template to manage updates more effectively

• Implement task dependencies to ensure clearer sequencing and workflow transparency

• Develop and adapt Python scripts that retrieve and update data through a JIRA API

• Improve and optimize existing code for greater robustness and maintainability

What You Bring

• Currently pursuing a degree in software development or a related field

• Experience with Python, Jira, and API integrations

• A strong software developer mindset with a focus on clean, effective solutions

• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively

• Curiosity, eagerness to learn, and motivation to contribute to real-world projects
