We are looking for a Student Legal Assistant to join our ambitious Legal & Compliance team in Aarhus, Denmark. The job as Student Legal Assistant
As our Student Legal Assistant, you will be an integral part of our legal team, which is dedicated to ensuring legal compliance, mitigating risks, and fostering a culture of integrity within our organization. We pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence and our drive to be at the forefront of legal innovation in the energy trading industry. As a Student Legal Assistant, you'll assist in various legal tasks within the energy trading industry and be part of a team consisting of 6 experienced professionals with diverse legal backgrounds and areas of expertise.
Your key responsibilities
- Assisting in drafting, reviewing, and analyzing commercial agreements, including energy contracts, and typical M&A-related documents.
- Providing research support on legal matters related to energy trading, ensuring compliance with local and international laws and regulations.
- Assisting in drafting and administering employment agreements and other HR/Legal-related matters.
- Supporting the development and implementation of legal policies and procedures.
- Participating in the automation and optimization of legal processes, including utilizing AI tools.
- Contributing to administrative tasks, such as document management, archiving, and maintaining legal workflows.
- Ensure all tasks have a positive value contribution to MFT Energy.
- Support the legal team on different projects and ad hoc tasks.
Your qualifications and personal skills
- Currently studying law (cand.jur) or business law (cand.merc.jur) and has completed or will complete the bachelor’s degree by summer 2026.
- Strong understanding of legal terminology.
- Great communication skills and openness, facilitating positive collaboration with stakeholders across the organization.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills, and highly organized.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to collaborate in a team environment, contributing to a dynamic workplace culture.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written, as it serves as our corporate language. Additional language skills or international legal experience are advantageous
- Eager to learn and contribute, being innovative, and can think out of the box.
