Are you passionate about designing outstanding digital experiences? We're looking for a UX intern with a self-starter mentality who's excited about creating user experiences that genuinely impact how businesses connect with their website visitors.

Who we are
Weply develops, staffs and services chat features for companies that want to convert more of their website visitors into ready sales leads. Today we staff chats for 2500+ companies in Northern Europe. Our customer chats are staffed by our chat consultants who are supported by AI 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

We're focusing on UX/UI optimization to enhance our product engagement – that's where you come into the picture! This is an opportunity to work on a product that thousands of people interact with daily, with the autonomy to explore, research, and propose solutions that could reshape how we approach user engagement.

About the internship
This internship is designed to support projects within the end-user experience and our customer experience. You'll work closely with our Product Owner, who will be your mentor throughout the process. While we don't have a dedicated UX/UI function currently, your research and insights will directly influence product decisions.

Your main focus will be:

· Exploring opportunities for interaction and engagement in our chat solution

· Understand the market and periphery of the space we operate in

· Conduct a UX-focused Market Analysis

Therefore, we are looking for someone who is interested in designing the optimal flow with our end users in mind. We do not have a dedicated UX/UI function currently, but you will be working closely with our Product Owner who will be your mentor throughout the process.

Your typical tasks will be:
· Market research and competitive analysis

· Research and prototype visual and interactive elements that make our chat feel more personal and engaging

· Translate research insights to tangible design concepts

· Contribute to ad-hoc tasks related to our design system

What we’re looking for:
· UX mindset: You understand user behavior, can conduct meaningful research, and think systematically about user flows and interactions

· Self-directed: You can work independently, manage your own projects, and know when to ask for guidance

· Detail-oriented: You have an eye for the small things that make interfaces feel intuitive and polished

· Creative problem-solver: You think outside the box and are passionate about exploring new solutions

· Currently enrolled in a relevant program (UX design, interaction design, digital design, or similar)

Big plus if you have:
· Strong visual design skills or experience with visual communication

· Experience with Figma or similar prototyping tools

· Interest in conversational interfaces or chat-based experiences

· A portfolio showcasing UX process and thinking(research, wireframes, prototypes)

What you'll gain:

The practicalities
Start date sometime in January or February. Internship period can be between 4-12weeks. The working week is 37 hours and takes place Monday-Friday in the period 8-17. We are located in the heart of Copenhagen right by the central station, Københavns Hovedbanegård. The internship is unpaid, but we offer free lunch, a steep learning curve, sweet colleagues, cool events, and a Friday bar every Friday.
