Join us as our new Student Assistant
We are looking for a student assistant with a good quality mindset and interest in microbiology to support our laboratory. You will become part of Novonesis and a dynamic team of passionate employees who create a fantastic working environment.

You will support the daily work in the laboratory through a variety of tasks and be part of a well-functioning working environment with good colleagues.

The working hours are 8-16 hours per week (e.g. 1 day per week and more during holidays). This is an opportunity to start your professional career in a fantastic environment.

Welcome to Proteins, LAB Assay Optimization & Contaminants (PLOC)
You will become a part of the PLOC department, which focuses on developing and optimizing new microbiological methods and technologies and new Chemical/Physical methods for global QC laboratories within both enzyme and microbial business areas.

The department consists of 19 dedicated colleagues, including Scientists, Lab technicians, and Student workers.

PLOC is part of GAIA, Global Assay Innovation & Automation with more than 100 amazing colleagues worldwide working to develop, optimize, align and automate QC methods to bring new Novonesis products into production and advance our product quality control with higher throughput.

In this role you’ll make an impact by:

• Writing SOPs in collaboration with a microbiologist
• Preparing various reports, e.g., ring test and verification reports
• Obtaining, collecting, and organizing large amounts of data
• Becoming a super user of our document management system
• Handling minor office tasks

To succeed you must hold:

• A bachelor’s or master’s student status in biology, biotechnology, engineering, pharmacy or similar
• A strong quality mindset
• An interest in microbiology
• Strong communication skills
• Fluency and strong communication skills in Danish and English, both verbally and in writing
