Student Assistant, Financial Systems
Dampskibsselskabet NORDEN A/S
Ever wondered how finance and technology work together behind the scenes?
Join us in Copenhagen as a Student Assistant and gain practical experience supporting our team in enhancing digital finance capabilities.
What is in it for you
You will work closely with our Financial System Specialist, contributing to improvements in our ERP system and other platforms that keep our global finance operations running smoothly.
This role gives you the chance to see how global finance systems operate in practice. You will gain practical experience, contribute to meaningful improvements, and build valuable skills — all in a supportive, collaborative environment where your ideas are welcome.
The tasks that await you
You will get exposure to platforms like Business Central, Z-Expense, and Continia tools, learning how they support finance processes across a global organisation.
This opportunity enables you to expand your knowledge, gain relevant experience and assist in creating improvements on a daily basis.
More specifically you will be:
- Assisting with issue resolution and solving errors within the ERP system.
- Maintaining accurate and compliant financial master data.
- Supporting the creation of user guides and training materials.
- Helping implement small improvements and automation initiatives.
- Testing new system solutions and preparing related documentation.
The expected working hours are 15 hours per week, but we are flexible.
What you bring
An approachable nature and problem-solving skills are significant, as you will interact with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
You are a person who stays organised and keeps track of multiple tasks with ease — always noticing the small details.
Besides this you:
- Are in the last year of your bachelor’s degree or at the beginning of your master’s degree in finance, analytics, economics or similar.
- Have an interest in financial systems and an understanding of Master Data.
- Are an advanced user of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Are fluent in written and spoken English and Danish.
Application
Please upload your application, resume and diplomas via our website no later than 18 January 2026.
We expect to review applications on an ongoing basis. However, you can expect us to get back to you no later than 10 working days after the application deadline, 18 January 2026.
