Core Responsibilities
As an Operations & Process specialist student worker in the Operational Technology (OT) Department you will play an important role in our Transformation & Change management journey to drive operational excellence and organizational efficiency.

You will be a member of a team, where your contribution will be to:

  • Assist in analyzing, documenting, and standardizing OT processes to drive efficiency and compliance
  • Assist in change management efforts by helping communicate initiatives, engage stakeholders, and ensure successful adoption of new processes
  • Drive operational performance improvements through data analysis and reporting
  • Work alongside experienced specialists and cross-functional teams, gaining hands-on experience in OT & Manufacturing

You will be part of the Operational Technology Project organization where we are responsible for:

  • Overseeing the planning and execution of technology projects across LEGO Manufacturing
  • Leading transformation & change initiatives across and beyond the OT department
  • Data Analytics & reporting for OT

As an Operations & Process Specialist Student Worker, you'll play an active role in our transformation journey by optimizing operational processes, supporting efficiency improvements, driving change initiatives, and contributing to data-driven decision-making. You'll have the opportunity to develop your skills alongside an international team of experts who are committed to your growth—offering hands-on guidance, mentorship, and real-world experience to kickstart your career in transformation and change management.

Do you have what it takes?
You are in your final year of your bachelor's degree or a master's student. Further, you have a basic understanding of how operations and processes work within an Engineering organization. You are curious about how to improve efficiency, drive change, and turn data into actionable insights. Most importantly, you're eager to learn and ready to collaborate with experienced colleagues who will support your development.

Furthermore, you are:

  • Currently studying minimum at B.Sc. degree level in a relevant field within Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Familiar with process mapping, documentation, and improvement principles (e.g., Lean thinking).
  • Knowledgeable about project and change management fundamentals and how organizations adopt change.
  • Comfortable working with data, identifying trends, and supporting reporting
  • A strong communicator who can engage and inform diverse stakeholder
  • Fluent in English – both written and spoken.
  • Have some experience working with tools like MS Excel, PowerPoint etc. familiarity with Power BI is a plus.
  • Equipped with a proactive attitude and a team player mentality, you are not afraid to ask questions and challenge us.
  • You are ambitious and aim to learn and grow in your job as much as possible – both professionally and personally.
  • Able to start in March and at least have one year left of your education.
  • Able to work 15 hours a week and be present in our office in Billund.
