Student Assistant to the International Program Department

Oxfam Denmark is looking for a student assistant with drive and commitment to support the International Program Department with delivering high quality program work and organizational processes. Read on and see if you could be that person!

The International Program Department consists of five teams with approximately 25 staff members working on thematic advisory support, promoting local leadership, learning and program management. You will be hosted in the Program Quality and Institutional Funding team but be involved in tasks with different teams and colleagues depending on agreed priorities.

Responsibilities and tasks
In this role your primary tasks will be:

  • Supporting department colleagues in a wide variety of tasks related to program management and communication.
  • Assisting our monitoring, reporting and learning efforts, including reviewing and editing reports.
  • Supporting our communication efforts, including website maintenance, writing articles, and developing presentations and information material.
  • Providing assistance in maintaining the Project Cycle Management Manual.
  • Engaging in daily ad-hoc tasks.

Skills and qualifications
You are enrolled in a higher education programme in a relevant field, and preferably in the last year of your Bachelor's degree or in the early stage of your Master's degree.

We value that you:

  • Have a broad set of competencies and enjoy being involved in different types of tasks in collaboration with others, but also independently.
  • Have skills and experience in documentation and written communication, can maintain overview and structure on large sets of information.
  • Have solid analytical and IT skills, especially Microsoft 365. Knowledge of Sharepoint and Teams is also highly relevant.
  • May have experience with development or humanitarian issues – perhaps from staying abroad in a lower- or middle-income country setting.
  • Are fluent in English. Knowledge of French, Spanish, or Arabic would be an advantage.
  • Are excited about being a part of an international confederation that works to fight inequality.

We offer

  • Preferred start date: 1 March 2026 or as soon as possible
  • Weekly working hours: 12-15 hours per week excluding lunch. We are flexible in relation to your study activities.
  • Salary and pension in accordance with the applicable collective agreement (HK/the state).
  • The workplace is Oxfam Denmark's office in VOX, the new common CSO house located at Lyngbyvej 100 close to Ryparken S-train station with possibility of working from home.
  • Canteen arrangement, which is predominantly vegetarian.
  • Massage scheme and health insurance as gross salary schemes.
