Your responsibilities and tasks
Are you curious about how data, analytics, and AI can shape digital communication in a global company? At GEA, we are looking for a Digital Data Assistant to join our Digital Channels team within Group Communications and Brand.

This is a hands-on student position for someone who enjoys turning data into insight, improving how things work, and experimenting with new tools. You will support the team in collecting, structuring, analyzing, and visualizing data from our digital platforms, while also exploring how AI can make reporting, automation, and decision-making smarter.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Work with digital channel data from sources such as web analytics, media coverage, social media, and internal communication platforms
  • Help build and improve Power BI reports that make performance data easier to understand and use
  • Learn how data is prepared, structured, and maintained in Databricks
  • Explore practical AI use cases for analysis, classification, summarization, automation, and knowledge discovery
  • Turn data into clear, useful insights that help colleagues evaluate campaigns, content, and digital channel performance
  • Contribute ideas for making reporting processes, data quality, and data-driven ways of working better over time

You will join GEA’s Group Communications and Brand department as part of the Digital Channels team, which manages GEA’s strategic digital channels, including the corporate website and flagship social media channels. You will be part of an international team of digital specialists and student assistants, with room to learn, contribute, and take responsibility as you grow into the role.

The place of employment is Soeborg, near Copenhagen, Denmark. The starting date is October 1st, 2026. We expect you to be able to work 15 hours per week.

Your profile and qualifications

  • Curious about data, digital communication, and AI, with a strong wish to learn by doing
  • Currently studying business, marketing, communication, data science, engineering, computer science, or another field where analytical thinking is important
  • Comfortable working with Excel and interested in developing your skills in Power BI, Databricks, and other data tools
  • Some experience with Python is expected, especially for working with data, automation, or AI-related tasks; knowledge of SQL or similar technologies is a plus
  • Structured and reliable, with an eye for detail and the ability to explain findings in a simple, understandable way
  • Confident in written and spoken English; Danish is not required
  • A motivated team player who enjoys collaborating with people from different backgrounds and is not afraid to ask questions or share ideas

We welcome people with different perspectives, experiences, nationalities, and backgrounds. If you are curious, motivated, and eager to grow, we encourage you to apply—even if you do not meet every requirement listed above.
