Internship Project Coordination, Product Development, Kvadrat, Ebeltoft
Kvadrat A/S
Are you studying business, project coordination, design management, engineering, or a related field?
And are you curious about the structure and coordination behind bringing a product from initial idea to commercial launch?
Kvadrat Product Development is looking for an intern to join our team in Ebeltoft from January for a minimum of five months.
As part of our team, you will get close to the development of Kvadrat textiles, with a particular focus on the coordination, documentation, and structure that support the development process.
About the internship
Product Development works at the intersection of design, materials, technical development, and commercial requirements. From Ebeltoft, our team drives and coordinates the development process in close collaboration with designers, textile engineers, suppliers, and colleagues across Kvadrat.
As an intern, you will work closely with one of our textile engineers, supporting the development of our upholstery products. You will help create and maintain a clear overview of ongoing projects, timelines, documentation, and activities, contributing to the coordination and follow-up that keep development projects moving forward.
What you will work with
Your role will focus on creating and maintaining structure, overview, and follow-up across our ongoing development projects. Your tasks may include:
- Supporting project timelines, planning, and follow-up
- Preparing and maintaining development documents, product information, and supplier briefs
- Creating clear project overviews and keeping information up to date
- Working with Excel, data, and collection mappings
- Preparing presentations, meeting material, and communication for different stakeholders
- Improving templates, processes, and ways of working, including the use of digital and AI tools
What you will learn
Through the internship, you will gain insight into:
- How professional textile development is structured and coordinated from initial development to commercial launch
- How structure, documentation, data, and follow-up support progress across development projects
- How communication and coordination across different stakeholders contribute to an effective development process
- Upholstery development and the technical and commercial considerations involved in bringing a textile to market
Who we are looking for
You are currently studying business, project coordination, design management, engineering, or a related field and have an interest in product development, processes, and organisation.
You enjoy creating structure and overview and have an eye for both the overall process and the details that keep it moving forward. You are comfortable working with documentation, data, and presentations.
You are organised, proactive, and collaborative. You take responsibility, work independently, and are comfortable supporting several activities at the same time. You communicate confidently in written and spoken English.
Strong Excel skills are an advantage, while experience with data analysis, Power BI, AI tools, or InDesign is a plus.
Most importantly, you are curious, open to learning, and motivated by creating structure and helping a development team move projects forward.
