Department of Electronic Systems, Aalborg University, invites applications for a student helper position as a lab student assistant at the CMI Section in Copenhagen.
The position is available from November 15th, 2026, or soon hereafter, and until June 30, 2027. The weekly number of hours is 8.
Description of tasks:
- Help students borrow items from Lab
- Put things in place in Lab and make sure that there are HDMI cables and extension cords enough
- Help teachers with preparing experiments (checking equipment is available and functioning)
- Copying or other tasks from study team and section adm
- Reservation of rooms for teaching and meetings
- Help with study areas at every semester start and import moodle pages from one semester to the next
- Posting offers at Moodle (Companies, events etc) and typing in the schedules
- Practical things when there are gatherings, PhD defence etc. and Buying at Nemlig – when we need soda’s, wine etc
Your competencies:
- Currently enrolled as a student, preferably within engineering, IT, or a related programme
- Well organized and able to manage several small administrative and practical tasks.
- Basic technical understanding and willingness to work with laboratory equipment, cables, computers, displays, and related teaching equipment.
- Comfortable using common digital tools such as Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, and Moodle.
- Practical and hands-on approach to organizing laboratories, teaching areas, meetings, events, and PhD defences.
- Able to collaborate effectively with teaching staff, administrative staff, and other student helpers.

Salary and terms of employment
Terms of employment and salary are in accordance with the applicable Joint Collective Agreement for OAO-S and Organisational Agreement for Office Clerks, Laboratory Technicians, and IT Employees (HK).
Employment is conditional upon enrollment at a higher education institution or a medium-length higher education program and active student status.
