The latter helped in understanding the interdependencies of the companies' value chain.

In my time at Normal A/S, I worked on carrying out time-studies of logistical processes within the warehouse, with focus on picking and internal transport. A central responsibility was developing the method for performing the studies: I created the tools and technique that enabled me to measure time in relation to performance, travel distance and various external factors.

The results of my analysis exposed areas where improvements could be made, while also quantifying both the impact of the issues found and the potential increase in performance.
