Project-I: Recycling of waste streams: Chemical recycling of plastics and used polycotton textiles into chemicals and dissolving pulp.

Project-II: Organosolv catalytic fractionation of Biomass/bio-based forestry waste residues into fuels & high value dissolving wood pulp. We make polymer dope using Ionic liquids/NMMO/CS2 and extrude using high-pressure syringe pump to obtain the textile fibers by Lyocell, Ioncell and Viscose process.

Lead Chemist role in upgrading the waste forestry wood to high value dissolving pulp & textile fibers.
Conducted workshops & delivered scientific presentations on chemical recycling of textiles & wood.
In-charge of multiple analytical instruments.
Active role in communicating with company vendors for procuring the laboratory equipment, scientific instruments and chemicals for the Joseph’s research group at SU.
I travel on collaboration work where I deliver presentations on project goals and perform the laboratory experiments together with our collaborators.
I teach Base year chemistry courses at Department of Organic Chemistry, Stockholm University, Sweden, (Spring 2021 & Spring 2022).

Research conducted in synthesis of small molecules, electro polymerization of pi-conjugated macrocycles, polymers and their purification using soxhlet extraction & column chromatography.

Active role in Collaboration & Team work.
Delivered scientific talks in the department on project updates.

Research conducted in synthesis of luminescent pi-conjugated furan and thiophene based organic electronic materials.
