The degree includes courses in neurophysiology, psychiatry, methods in preclinical and clinical research, CT, PET, MRI, statistics, and machine learning.
In writing my thesis I gained substantial experience with microscopy, programming, and staining techniques. Additionally, I participated in international collaboration on an exchange program during which I had the responsibility for planning and executing a pilot study with laboratory animals. Not only did I become competent in animal handling, behaviour, and electrophysiology, I also strengthened my organisational and project management skills.
