Electronics Test and Design Assistant (student employee)
CEKO Sensors ApS
Would you like to use and develop your skills in a young and growing company? We are looking for a multi-talented hardware engineer (student assistant) who thrives assuming responsibility and working in all steps of the production cycle, from design to mass production.
About CEKO Sensors ApS
At CEKO Sensors ApS we design, develop, and sell complete IoT solutions to harsh environments within the wind energy and power transmission industries. We have a unique sensor technology based on optical microchips, internally developed edge-computing, and cloud solutions. Our solution is applied to monitoring and control of critical infrastructure in the power transmission grid. You will become a key member of our development team that also includes electronics engineers, software engineers, data analysts and microchip experts.
We work closely together across our key competencies, and as a team we provide solutions that make a difference in the real world. It is important that you are self-driven, eager to learn – and that you appreciate a challenge.
Your tasks
Your main tasks will be modification, bring-up, documentation and testing newly developed sensor units, but you will also assist in the further development of the hardware and designing test-rigs for production setups as well as various tasks related to improving both product and production processes.
The work will include topics like analog electronics, micro-processor systems, high-reliability design, design-for-production, troubleshooting and to a lesser extent high-speed designs.
You will work from our office in Lyngby near Copenhagen.
About you
You possess a relevant education and have 1+ years of experience working with electronics, preferably either in R&D, testing or production. You work independently in close collaboration with your colleagues.
It is important that you are thorough and work in a structured manner, since your work will directly affect production and in-field products.
Experience in embedded programming and Python is a plus.
Since a significant portion of your work will be hands-on, you must be proficient in using soldering irons, oscilloscopes, and similar equipment.
It is a requirement that you have experience in at least one of these fields:
- Schematics design and PCB development (Preferably in Altium Designer)
- Professional R&D
- Electronics Production (Testing, PTA, QA etc)
- Similar practical function, emphasizing component- and system level understanding of electronics
In order to be considered for the position you must be based in Denmark and possess a work permit.
We offer
As a growing, newly established high-tech company we offer:
- High impact on the development of our solutions
- An informal environment where all opinions are heard, and ideas quickly turned into action
- Plenty of exciting challenges where you will most likely be outside your comfort zone from time to time
- Sparring with other members of the team
Are you the one we are looking for?
