Are you currently studying either Law or Commercial Law? And would you like to use your theoretical knowledge in a practical way at a global energy company? Then keep reading – it could be one of the best career decisions you ever make!
The job
Here’s what the job entails
In the role, your main focus will be to assist with:
- preparing, drafting and negotiating standard trading contracts such as EFET power and gas agreements
- administration and registration of contract data and appendixes in our contract management system
- ad hoc legal tasks, for instance non-disclosure agreements, power of attorney, cooperation agreements and consultancy agreements
The team
Meet the team
As our new Junior legal assistant, you will join our Legal & Compliance unit, which consists of 18 dedicated employees. The legal team is responsible for mitigating legal risks, providing relevant input for decision-making and supporting the entire organisation with high-quality legal advice and contractual setup and support. We work closely with a wide range of stakeholders across the organisation, from trading teams to senior leadership.
In the legal team, you will have eight skilled and motivated colleagues who set the bar high and always help each other finish the job. Everyone is eager to learn from one another, and we value each other's different opinions. It is important for us to have fun as we go along, and we enjoy spending time together at social events.
This is a perfect opportunity to bridge the gap between academic study and practical application. You will get hands-on experience and develop crucial skills that will strengthen your legal profile.
