Welcome to Construction
You’ll be part of Offshore Cable Installation where you, together with your colleagues, will be planning and executing the installation of array and export cables. You’ll be cooperating closely with colleagues across Europe, the US, and APAC who all go the extra mile for a safe and efficient offshore construction campaign. We’re a diverse team of 70 global offshore installation managers, specialists, and engineers who share complementary skillsets and common commitment to delivering high-quality work. You’ll play an important role in:

  • assisting the engineering team in analysing and recommending installation spread procedures prior to and during installation
  • supporting the construction project by cooperating with the Contractor's Engineering department and the Marine Warranty Surveyors
  • assisting in creating and maintaining an overview of the different static and dynamic influences to be accounted for with regard to cable installation solutions
  • assisting in developing cable installation guidelines and incorporating lessons learned into new designs and solutions.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have studied hydrodynamics or wave dynamics, have worked with mechanics during your studies and have an understanding of strength of materials
  • are able to perform basic programming, such as MATLAB, and have a strong track record in logical problem solving and technical report writing
  • preferably have analytical skills, incl. finite element analysis
  • speak and write English fluently.

Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
