Then become part of one of Denmark’s leading engineering and R&D companies in the spring of 2025. As an intern at our office in Stilling (near Aarhus), you will get an educational and challenging internship in a company providing consultancy and engineering services as well as turn-key solutions to some of the biggest and most recognized companies in Denmark and abroad.
Internship at DIS
As an Intern, you will experience what it is like to work as a Project Engineer at DIS. Your day will be varied, and you can expect exciting and professional challenges, where you will be in close contact with customers and suppliers. From day one, you will be part of the team, and you can expect to work on multiple projects for different customers. Some of these projects will take place in multi-disciplinary project groups, while others will be executed individually – but always with support from skilled colleagues from whom you can always ask for advice.
We work within the following two areas, and the tasks typically include:
Asset Management
- Data acquisition and structure setup in CMMS based on industry standards.
- Technical due diligence to be in control of current asset condition.
- Documentation management.
- Project Management.
- Maintenance plan development and task assignments that reflect equipment criticality and maintenance strategy.
Safety
- Documentation.
- CE-marking.
- Machine directive compliance.
- ATEX and pressure equipment directives compliance.
- Performance Level calculation.
“My internship at DIS was a genuine positive experience. The integration into the team made me feel like a valued employee rather than a typical intern. The exposure to diverse marine engineering tasks provided a well-rounded experience, enhancing both my technical skills and overall understanding of the field. The mentorship I received was instrumental in my professional development, fostering confidence and proficiency. This immersive and comprehensive approach to the internship significantly contributed to my growth, making it a pivotal and rewarding experience in my journey within the field of marine engineering.”
