Our summer internship is a 7-weeks programme designed to provide the experience and skills you need in your studies and future career. Our Norwegian internship will begin on 23 June and ends on 8 August 2025.

The position
Subsea technology is a competence used across Equinor, from design to operation and technology development. You’ll be working with experts and professionals in multidiscipline teams.

By joining this position within Subsea Technology in Global Operational Technology (GOTE), interns may be offered technical challenges, tasks and group work within offshore structure, marine systems, and digitalization and technology at our offshore facilities for oil and gas in production, and new builds in addition to the common summer internship program.
Your exact assignment will be decided based on our business needs, combined with your field of expertise and your interests, within
• Subsea structure
• Subsea Processing
• Subsea Valves, Manifolds, Subsea Control Systems
• Technical support related to the operation, maintenance, and modification of our installations

You
For this position we are looking for those with:
• Currently studying for Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a strong academic record within Marine technology, Civil Engineering or mechanical Engineering, Naval architect, Marine cybernetic.
• Fluent in English.
• No more than two years of relevant full-time work experience.
• Have completed at least two years of higher education before the internship programme starts (23 June 2025).
• Have at least one year of higher education left after the internship programme ends (8 August 2025).
• The interns need to be located in the country where the internship takes place during its entire duration. Equinor does not support any relocation for our summer interns.
• Candidates must have the necessary work permit for the country in which they are applying for a position. The work permits must be valid at the point of application and for the duration of the employment. • Extracurricular activities and/or voluntary work are an advantage.
