Student Worker for Programming and Data Analysis for Cyber Security
Danish Cyber Defence A/S
Danish Cyber Defence (DCD) is looking for a student worker for programming, data analysis, report “automation” and template creation tasks.
At DCD we have an open minded, direct, informal culture in our office space which we - in being Cyber Security Advisors to some of the largest companies in Denmark - share with other offensive and defensive cyber security professionals. Accordingly, a keen interest in cyber security and computers in general will provide you a great opportunity to learn on many aspects of Cyber Security.
Your tasks will primarily be:
- Maintain our datasets and ways of gathering and aggregating data
- Maintain and develop our scripts for data analysis (currently R)
- Provide statistics and data visualisations from our data sets for use in reports and presentations
- Maintain our scripts, templates and tools for generating reports
We imagine that you are midway in your studies within a field of applied science that relies on the usage of programming and data analytics and that you already have practical experience applying those skills.
This means that we expect you to have hands-on experience with the following skills:
- High-level programming (Rust/Go/Python/R/C++/Java or similar)
- Data wrangling, analysis, and visualisation
- Writing reports using templates
Furthermore, experience with Latex and database administration are considered plusses as is a keen interest in Cyber Security and “computers” in general.
Besides from the above you must:
- Hold an EU citizenship
- Be fluent in written and spoken English
- Have solid general IT skills and understanding
- Have a clean criminal record
Should you on top of the above happen to be “good at computers” or solving problems with software we do have many interesting itches that need scratching and rabbit holes to tumble down into.
We will be looking forward to receiving your application and CV as soon as possible and no later than October 19th, 2024.
