Student Assistant for Marketing

We are looking for a motivated student assistant to help our Business Development team with a wide range of Marketing tasks. You will join our Marketing Manager, who you will support in bridging business development and marketing targets with Nordic Bioscience’s scientific excellence.

Marketing in a scientific environment
You will work closely with our Marketing Manager and be involved in generating new business and assisting marketing communications by leveraging Nordic Bioscience’s scientific expertise in the biotech field.

This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in omnichannel marketing strategies, learn how you can apply marketing theory in practice, get familiar with online marketing tools and platforms, and communicating complex ideas for all stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:
The position is 10-12 hours per week and is located in Herlev. We expect the assistant to be able to assist in various day-to-day assignments:

• Keep Nordic’s website updated
• Create marketing content for conference participants using in-house templates
• Help create marketing content for company news and social media
• Assist in collaborating with scientific departments
• Help ensure internal communication and platform consistency
• Assist in website SEO tasks
• Handle social media inquiries
• Assist in gathering online analytics
• Support email automation and drip marketing
• Other ad-hoc tasks

Enrolled in relevant studies
We expect that you have a great interest in marketing and are interested in getting valuable experience. You are enrolled in studies related to business administration, marketing or similar and are ideally at your masters.

You have understanding of basic marketing theory and marketing channels. Previous experience is not a requirement, but it’s an advantage. Furthermore, scientific background or knowledge from science/biotech industry is not a requirement, but an advantage. It is imperative that the candidate is willing to develop a basic understanding of life sciences.

Tech-savviness and computer knowledge is a key skill component, as we are working with a wide range of digital tools.

Proficiency in English is a requirement.

Business Development
Marketing is part of our Business Development department, which allows us to work in close collaboration with colleagues across Nordic Bioscience. This embedded role gives us a broad understanding and knowledge of our biomarkers and helps us improve old and generate new business. Marketing fulfills the function of developing product messaging, facilitating stakeholder communications, scientific sales enablement, and helping the business development team reach its yearly targets.
