The Modelling & Optimisation department is the competence centre at Vattenfall for technical and financial modelling of offshore wind farms. We are responsible for expanding our fully in-house developed wind farm design tools, utilizing advanced mathematical optimisation techniques and co-simulation of multi-parameter physical models. These models assess and optimise the design of our future offshore wind farms, mastering the complexity of each component while maintaining a holistic view of the full system. As we work with a mix of Excel-based financial models and Python-based tools, you'll have the opportunity to develop your skills in both areas.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Modelling and Optimisation and Valuation teams to create and maintain financial models using Excel and Python.
- Assist in developing and improving existing valuation tools.
- Generate documentation for financial models, ensuring clarity and ease of use.
- Participate in team discussions and learn from experienced professionals in the field.

- Language Skills: Proficiency in written and spoken English.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to both Excel and Python.
- Knowledge of Python is not essential but would be advantageous for interested candidates.
