Internship – Graduate in Electrical/Energy Engineering

The recent years we have been increasing our presence throughout the European market, including Italy. We experience rapid development and an increasing number of new projects, with a growing Italian team. Therefore, we are currently looking for an internal electrical/energy engineer to support our team and projects in Italy.

Based in Milan, the Company’s Italian subsidiary is responsible for development, construction and operation of projects in Italy, with support from Headquarter and from our competence centres in Portugal and Romania.

Role & Key Responsibilities:
We are looking for a proactive, newly graduated, Electrical/Energy Engineering (Stagiaire) to work and learn with our Engineering team, carrying out technical analyses and supporting our team on relevant technical aspects (e.g. Terna, E-Distribuzione etc).

Reporting to our Senior Project Engineer (Italy), you will learn to perform a variety of technical tasks under senior supervision, including:

• Drafting technical documents regarding grid connection, operating on the DSO/TSO (Terna, E-Distribuzione) portals, participating in interaction with the DSO/TSO;
• Conducting technical analyses and sizing calculations on our projects;
• Preparing basic project layouts, including preparation of technical drawings;
• Working with colleagues in our Solar Competence Centre (SCC) and Wind Competence Centre (WCC), supporting effective flow of information;
• Conducting basic Energy Yield Assessments;
• Writing technical reports and presenting technical data to Management;
• Maintaining/archiving/organizing technical project documentation;
• Other tasks related to the above.
  

The mandatory profile:
You must have:

• A Degree in Electrical or Energy Engineering
• Desire to learn and progress
• Motivation and ability to work simultaneously on several tasks, in a dynamic environment
• Desire to visit sites and travel to HQ in Denmark / other offices in Europe if needed
• Native Italian language; proficient in English (speaking and writing) as you will be collaborating with colleagues across Europe.

This 6 month-Internship/Stage is an excellent opportunity to focus your engineering skills in an international group, interfacing with colleagues in Italy and across Europe. You will acquire valuable knowledge an experience, while having an opportunity for a permanent hire. All this while contributing to securing clean, sustainable energy and saving the planet!
