Brief Description of Position:
We are looking for Junior Analysts (working students) to join our Global Business Case Team in Copenhagen approximately working 20 hours per week (2-3 days a week), with flexibility during exam periods. This is a unique opportunity to learn from industry experts and work on impactful offshore wind projects around the world.

As a Junior Analyst, you’ll gain hands-on experience with real-world investment opportunities, learning both analytical and soft skills that will set you up for a successful career.
As you start your career with COP, we will ensure you are well supported by our entire Business Case team including both full-time employees and existing Junior Analysts. You will be provided with a ‘buddy’ to support you in your early career and to help you navigate both your professional tasks and working within COP.

You will support initiatives including:
As a Junior Analyst, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of offshore wind by supporting the development and investment assessments of groundbreaking renewable projects. This is what you will work on:
- Business Case Development: Help build business cases for early-stage offshore wind projects.
- Financial Modeling & Valuation: Get practical experience in modeling and valuing potential investments.
- Market Research: Conduct screenings, site assessments, and in-depth due diligence on new opportunities across the globe.
- Strategic Support: Assist with high-impact areas such as auctions, partnerships, corporate PPAs, and business development.
- Presenting & Visualizing: Present financial and technical data in compelling ways to help leaders make decisions.
To succeed in this role, you:
Ideally, you are in your final year of bachelor’s or first year of your master’s degree within economics, business, engineering or any other relevant field. We look for the following in a candidate:
- Interest in renewable energy and in particular offshore wind project economics, corporate finance, valuation, strategy, and M&A.
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills backed up by your academic track record.
- Curious and creative mindset with an ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Desire to work in a flexible environment where tasks, workload and topics can vary from project to project.
- Ability to deliver high-quality work based on a best practice mindset.
- A personality that enables you to create and maintain relations and communicate efficiently across a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience with Excel and PowerPoint
