We are looking for a Student Assistant with a drive for analytical tasks, a keen eye for details, and a passion for Vessel Performance. If this sounds like you, we cannot wait to hear from you!
Join our journey and contribute to Ultrabulk's success by performing these tasks:
- Developing an understanding of ships' technical performance and its monitoring to reduce fuel consumption and the consequent emissions
- Monitoring performance of the owned and long-term charter fleet in our performance system
- Coordinating with the Operations department for underwater inspections, hull cleaning, propeller polishing and ship crew to implement best practices
- Driving the performance improvement of assigned vessels in relation to auxiliary engine consumption
- Developing tools and ideas to automate workflows and decision making in relations to vessel performance

You will be part of a smaller team within the Business Intelligence department where innovative thinking is highly encouraged. We offer a flexible working week of 2-3 days, with more hours required during holiday periods and fewer hours during your exam periods.
The ideal Student Assistant for our Fleet Efficiency & Decarbonisation is someone who...
- Is currently in the last semester of a bachelor’s degree or first semester of a master’s degree at DTU or ITU within Data Science, Business Analytics, Maritim teknik/Naval Architecture & Offshore Engineering
- Or is on their 2nd year of BEng Maritim teknik/Naval Architecture looking to combine the position with an internship
- Has knowledge of automation/data analysis/programming in Excel and Python
- Thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment and have an outstanding work ethic and integrity
- Wants to contribute to the positive social atmosphere in the team, as the work environment is a top priority in Ultrabulk
- Is proactive, creative and full of initiative
- Is fluent in both oral and written English
- Has a residence and work permit allowing you to work in Denmark
