The position
You will support initiatives related to driving Novo Nordisk Environmental Strategy. You will get a chance to develop your environmental as well as your project management skills and gain business understanding. Your task will be to support project managers and specialists in the implementation of projects within chemical assessment and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and will include collection, handling, assessment and presentation of data as well as project support.
Practicalities:
- Internship period: 6-12 months
- Working hours: full-time, up to 37 hours weekly
- Start date: January/February 2024 or soonest possible
- Location: Bagsværd, Denmark
- Internships are remunerated if your educational track allows
- Full-time Danish work permit is required for non-EU candidates
Students must be enrolled at a university through the entire internship period. Both the internship period and working hours will be flexible to accommodate school projects/exams.
Qualifications
We are looking for an intern who has environmental/chemical knowledge. You are currently in the first or second year of a Master’s degree in Environmental/Chemical Engineering, Environmental Management, Environmental Chemistry, or similar relevant education.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- General knowledge of strategy, environmental issues, and assessments
- Ability to conduct data analysis
- Great communication & interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with MS Excel
- Fluency in both spoken & written English

About the department

Corporate Environmental Strategy is a diverse team responsible for Novo Nordisk Environmental strategy ‘Circular for Zero’, where we strive for zero environmental impact. Our responsibility includes a variety of environmental initiatives across the organisation and with external stakeholders. We develop and deploy environmental strategies, run cross-organisational projects and drive environmental intelligence leading to a reduced Novo Nordisk environmental footprint. The department consist of 25 dedicated project managers and specialists, all highly engaged in driving the environmental strategy of Novo Nordisk.
